Specifically designed to address the needs of those intimidated by computers, equalskills is the first step on the IT skills ladder.   People can them move on and build additional IT skills through out e-Citizen and ECDL qualifications if they wish.

Gives people the knowledge to use the internet and email

equalskills covers four topics:
1. Computer Basics
2. Introduction to the Desktop
3. World Wide Web
4. Email
* e-Citizen is a fun and simple way for people to use to learn how to use the internet and email.
* It features simulated websites so that people can familiarize themselves with how a website operates, whilst also learning how to use the internet safely and securely.
* It starts with how to switch on a computer and use a mouse and then moves onto to write and send emails, how to open files, how to shop online and how to find information online to name just a few elements
