I would like to take this opportunity in thanking everyone for their words of congratulations and continued support on receiving the ‘Outstanding Contribution to Early Years and Childcare Individual Award’, I was honestly totally amazed.

Looking back over the 22 years I have worked in Early Years, having the opportunity of working with fantastic, dedicated, professional Early Years practitioners I believe that we have an outstanding childcare workforce with outstanding childcare facilities – which can only provide the best for the children we care for.

As ‘Key workers’ working with children we have the ‘key to opening the door’ giving each child the opportunity to achieve’.

Remember, whilst paperwork, Policies and documentation is a requirement – spending time with a child is a MUST!!

Once again to you all, particularly my family, Staff at Trinity Day Care Centre, AMVYCP. and the children and families that have supported me to where I am today.
